Full Pressure Installation
Incertameter® represents a breakthrough in speed and convenience for the installation of DMA sub metering systems.
It can be fitted in line, under pressure and without the bypass work and additional valves required in a conventional installation.
This provides the advantage of being able to satisfy customer expectations and Ofwat targets for security of supply.

Low Cost Installation
Because it fits directly onto the pipe at full pressure, installing Incertameter® requires much less in the way of excavation and reinstatement than a normal DMA metered by-pass.
Instead of the normal 3m x 2m excavation to install a metered by-pass, it can be installed in a space no larger than that taken up by a standard hydrant, saving time, materials and money.

Incertameter Interface Secure, Reliable Data Transmission
Incertameter® broadcasts up to six weeks historical flow rate data to operators using wireless equipped laptop PCs.
These data packets or ‘chirps’ take a maximum of 15 seconds to download - a true ‘drive by’ telemetry facility - and provide information for engineers in graphical and tabular formats.
In areas where there is a higher concentration of Incertameters, the demonstrated wireless range of 80 metres means operators can monitor several units from one location, saving even more time.
